Cleaning up in Brockhill
Batchley and Brockhill councillor Kerrie Miles was joined today by local campaigners Sara Allmark and Martin Mcleod and our Parliamentary Candidate Andrew Fieldsend-Roxborough cleaning up the streets of Brockhill.
Between them, they collected 11 bags of rubbish in just a few hours.
Talking about the decision to to a litter pick Cllr Kerrie Miles said 'One of the things that really impressed me about the Liberal Democrats is how they do politics differently. Instead of just expecting people to vote for them, the Liberal Democrats go out and earn your vote by working hard in and for the local community.
It was great to be out on my first community event as a Liberal Democrat Councillor and making a real difference to our community.'
